Tourists in Santa Barbara

We left Laguna Beach and headed north to Santa Barbara. We dropped our bags at the hotel and hit the ground running trying to maximize our limited time here. 

A short walk brought us to the County Courthouse which is one of the major attractions in this coastal city. A bit surprising, but once you step inside you know exactly what all the fuss is about. The tile work and hand painted ceilings are spectacular. Make your way up to the top of the clock tower and you have the best views of Santa Barbara.

We had a busy day ahead of us on Saturday with a little bit of shopping, a little work, and more shopping for our upcoming camping trip(the amount of stuff you need to camp is exhausting to think about). But first...brunch.   

We entered the Hotel Valley Ho in Scottsdale and instantly were transported back in time; circa 50's-60's. The mid century design of the resort and the Beach Boys blaring from the speakers as we walked in set the mood for the laid back vibe.
